A. Write a sentence to describe each problem.

J. Write as many words as you can in the organizer about the picture. Use the words to tell the complaints of one of the men. Write the other man’s answers.

Answer: I am sorry, I was very busy and I couldn't respond.

2. Complaint: Why are you late? You are late for more than an hour.
Answer: I am really sorry. My car's tires were out of air.

3. Complaint: Why you did not finish your tasks?
Answer: I apologize, I was sick so I went to the hospital.

K. WRITING

You work for the L.L. Electronics Company. You received a letter from Mr. Bell. He bought one of the items below. It was damaged when he received it in the mail. Write him a letter apologizing for the situation and explain what he should do next. Use the chart to help you take notes and organize your thoughts.

Dear Mr. Bell,

I am so sorry to hear that news and it happens for the first time.

I assure you that the cell phone is new and it works perfectly, but since the rough roads it might break.

We totally apologize and you can come to the company to replace the cell phone.
